“DANTE” Now Available

A collective of ingenious originals, DANTE MILANO’s first album integrates a delicate mix of traditional and modern sounds and instruments, challenging the boundaries of jazz. In DANTE’s own words, this album was crafted to encourage listeners to “ponder, interpret, and engage with the elements of each track.” With unconventional time signatures and unique voicings, this album emanates an energy that listeners can use to reflect and get inspired.

The album features a few original compositions that DANTE wrote in 2018-2019 that offer an older perspective with a new twist. During his time reviewing some of his older work, he added new components, including drum breaks and multi-instrument layering, to produce a fuller, more cohesive sound. Influenced by gospel and classical music, he also incorporated choir vocals on a few of the tunes. The result? A powerful combination of intellect and soul.
